About the National Accreditation Center
The National Accreditation Center (NAC) is the only national accreditation body in the field of conformity assessment designated by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 439 dated June 28, 2021, “On the Establishment of the Republican State Enterprise ‘National Accreditation Center’ under the Right of Economic Management”).
The activities of the NAC are governed by the following documents:
- Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 5, 2008, “On Accreditation in the Field of Conformity Assessment”;
- International Standard ISO/IEC 17011, “Conformity assessment — Requirements for accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies”;
- Regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of accreditation;
- Requirements of international accreditation organizations.
The NAC ensures transparency, impartiality, and recognition of accreditation results at both the national and international levels.
